Circular cycling tour to the “secrets sights and bridges of Zagori”

A chance to visit the unknown and hidden area of the villages called “Riza” built at the foot of mountain “Mitsikeli”.

Starting from the “balcony” of Zagori, Elati, a small village with an amazing view of Vikos gorge and mt. Timfi, we drive towards the hidden village of Dikorfo. There we have to make a refreshing stop at the main square of the village.

We continue the ride into a scenic road with a mixed forest of firn and oak trees.  While we downhill, we pass from the smallest villages of Manassi, and Kalouta where we have to make a stop to visit the small waterfall and the infamous water fountain.

The road after leads to the bridge of Zagoritikos river one of the 2 main rivers that flow south to form Arachtos. For the ones who want more, we make an extra kilometer to visit the 3 arched bridges of Kalouta, one of the 2 triple-arched bridges of Zagori.

 The road now starts to uphill, and that is when we will appreciate the power of our electric bikes! At the end of the hill, we will see Agios Christophoros chapel, where we stop to enjoy the amazing view!

A very pleasant road leads us to Kipi the “bridges village”. On our way, we pass from another five of the most famous bridges and continue towards the authentic Dilofo village.

We will make a visit to the village, and we close the circle reaching Elati where we finish the tour.
