The mountainous region of Evritania is out of the classic touristic maps but it is a region addressed to nature lovers, who seek authenticity and action within a mountainous landscape.

The valley of Karpenisi, is surrounded by three mountains of almost 2000 m. altitude, it has fast flowing rivers, gorges and lakes which can only be discovered through hiking, biking or off road trails. Not to be missed the gorge of Panta Vrechi (in Greek it means "the place where it is always raining"!), the Monastery of Prousos (spectacularly built on the edge of the gorge), the via ferata in the Gorge of the Black Cave.

Behind Mt. Kaliakouda lies a very well hidden paradise for nature lovers. After an interesting dirt road ascend – descend of the spectacular mountain we end to the riverside of Krikelopotamos. We walk in the riverbanks and in the river's crystal clear waters for about 45 minutes until we arrive to the amazing waterfalls of Panta Vrechi.

The day starts at 9.30 in the morning, from the hotel of your choice. After driving an interesting dirt road with very beautiful view on Kaliakouda mountain, we will stop on the highest view point, at 1700 m. to take photos. After about 1.30 hour we will stop near the Krikelopotamos river. We will leave the jeep and start the trekking into the river. After 40 minutes we will arrive at the spot where the amazing waterfalls are located. We will stay there for swimming and after that, we will return back to the jeep.
