Enjoying rafting in Pineios river and walking in traditional villages

A special and unique rafting experience in Pineios (Peneus) river, which flows in Thessaly, one of the most beautiful and important monumental regions of ancient Greece. During our route, we saw big old plane trees (over 100 years old) and spotted a wide variety of birds (heron, grey heron, flamingo, great cormorant).

It is an easy 1st and 2nd-degree rafting tour, close to Mt. Olympus, very suitable for families with children and elderly adventurers too. At the end of the activity, we all tried our talent in archery and completed this tour with a delicious lunch near the river.

Then, he headed for Ampelakia traditional village where we enjoyed walking and taking photos!
