Venetikos is one of the longest rivers of Greece that joins the mountains of Epirus with the plains of Grevena, forming a path of exceptional beauty. This river is the longest tributary of Aliakmonas and lies entirely in the prefecture of Grevena.
During our rafting activity you will discover the variety of different natural habitats that this river forms. It is a highly recomended rafting tour suitable for all, from adventurers to families with children. Our route will start from the great “Gates of Venetikos“ and will finish at the spot where Venetikos unites with Aliakmonas, close to the beautiful village of Agapi in the Grevena region.
You can combine this activity with our other activites at the nearby Meteora region.
At Greek Adventure’s rafting base, at 10 am.
Organized Rafting base (changing rooms, W/C), local transfers (from base to the river and back), full Rafting equipment (boat, life jacket, paddles, helmet, uniform etc.), experienced Rafting guides.
Fulfillment of participation document, prepayment of participation fee, physical and mental health.
Total program duration: 3,5 – 4,5 hours.
Route length: 9 km.
Suitable for ages: 8-80 years (depending time of the year and weather conditions).
What participants should have with them: Second pair of shoes (which will get wet) or sandals of closed type, swimming suit or underwear that will get wet, towel and suntan (summer).

- During the activity there will be a photographer at selected spots. You have the option to acquire a CD with all the photos for an extra cost of 15€ per CD
